Zlatko Kranjčar Admires Iran Premier League for Tough Competition
During the recent years, Iranian Football Federation has managed to hold a well organized and solid league in the country. Zlatko Kranjčar, the head coach of Sepahan FC, said on Wednesday that Iran Pro League is one of the top football leagues of Asia.
“Iran Premier League is one of the most interesting and exciting leagues for me. There are a large number of clubs, which compete for winning the title. Teams such as Sepahan, Esteghlal, Persepolis, Foolad and Tractor Sazi Tabriz are among the leading clubs.” Zlatko Kranjčar remarked during a pre-match press-conference at Isfahan.
“Currently, Sepahan FC takes advantage of professional and talented forwards. Khalatbari was our key player in last season, but he left the team for Ajman. However, we have succeeded to transfer-in a few high quality attackers in order to keep the balance of the squad.” Kranjčar added.
Regarding the conditions of his side in upcoming AFC Champions League, Kranjčar said: “ACL is a great annual tournament for Asian clubs. We are ready to do our best in this competition in the hope of making our lovely fans happy of the results.” Last season, Sepahan was eliminated from ACL in group stage.
“Mojtaba Jabbari has impressed me with his great performance in training sessions and friendly matches. I think he will be able to help the team in the best possible way. Please keep in mind that he played an important role in Team Melli’s qualification to 2014 FIFA World Cup.” Zlatko Kranjčar noted about the situation of Jabbari, the former vice-captain of Esteghlal FC.
