World’s Top Brands to gather in Singapore for Qualitative Research Event

QUAL360 EUThere is a reason why Singapore is a growing consumer insight hub in Asia. As Western markets continue to face economic challenges, many top brands are heading to Asia for growth. Most western brands still struggle to understand the tastes and cultural differences of the large growing Asian market. With Singapore’s status as the regional financial hub and favourable government policies towards businesses, many chose Singapore as their headquarters and as a stepping stone to regional markets.

At the 5th Qualitative 360 conference, global brands and agencies will convene in Singapore on November 19-21 to discuss the challenges and opportunities for using qualitative marketing research for driving retail, marketing and new product development strategies. The forum intends to inform businesses of new qualitative techniques and how these new tools can help companies better understand their own brands and customers.

Among the world’s largest consumer packaged goods companies represented at Qualitative 360 Asia; P&G will speak about how qualitative research can be used to win over shoppers and how it can be part of the overall research design to develop retail strategies. Unilever will be presenting a case study on how to find breakthrough insights from Asia’s unbelievably demanding consumers.

Among the tech companies represented, Ericsson will be unveiling the world’s first qualitative study done over the ‘cloud’. Google, the popular search engine which is increasingly developing market research tools for small businesses will speak on how Google does research globally and what are the methodological challenges in the age of big data.

Insites Consulting, a winner of the recent 2013 NGMR Disruptive Innovator Award will partner with HJ Heinz to present a case study on how online communities can help bring consumers to life. In their pre-conference workshop, they will address hands-on, the issues of co-creation and managing online communities and how to report insights to large clients.
