Hamrah-e-Avval Set to Offer ‘Blue Line’ to Esteghlal Fans
The managing director of Mobile Telecommunication Company of Iran Vahid Sadoughi announced on Wednesday that Hamrah-e-Avval will start providing Blue Line service to Esteghlal fans by the end of August.
Accordingly Esteghlal fans can take advantage of different types of services using Blue Line.
“As the leading mobile network in Iran, MCI holds a great market share in the country. By offering the new generation of services to football lovers in Iran, Hamrah-e-Avval can attract more clients,” said Vahid Sadoughi, CEO of Hamrah-e-Avval.
“We have agreed to pay a specific percentage of revenues made by Blue Line to Esteghlal football club. By using this service, fans can support their beloved side,” Sadoughi continued.
He also talked about possible sponsorship deals with other clubs. It is worth mentioning that Hamrah-e-Avval is Iran’s first and largest mobile phone network operator.
“We are negotiating with the officials of other clubs in Iran Pro League with regard to the same offers. Currently, we are trying to close similar deals with other popular clubs such as Tractor Sazi and Sepahan,” Sadoughi concluded.
Ali Fathollahzadeh, the managing director of Esteghlal FC, believes that Blue Line will help the Tehran-based football club to make more money. “Almost all the European football clubs in partnership with mobile careers are pursuing the same model to make additional revenues. From a few years ago, Asian football teams such as Al-Hilal have started following this kind of methods. Accordingly they have managed to earn a large amount of money only by selling customized packages.”
Currently, Mobily is the main sponsor of Al-Hilal FC in Saudi Arabia. The Arab team makes around $20 million a year from its sponsorship deal with Mobily.
