Leader of Motalefeh Party Criticizes Ahmadinejad for Giving False Reports
Last week, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad appeared in a live television show to give reports about the performance of his government during the recent eight years. In his reports, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad tried to hide the current economic, politic and social problems in country.
Mohammad Nabi Habibi, the leader of the conservative Motalefeh Party, said on Monday that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad should reflect the ‘right’ reports and numbers to Iranians. He also went on to accuse Ahmadinejad of ‘cheating’ and ‘misleading’ people.
“In less than one month, the new government will take the power. So it is very important for us to know the real conditions and situations of country. I kindly ask the president to reflect right reports instead of crafting false claims.” Mohammad Nabi Habibi told reporters.
Habibi believes that the future of Islamic Republic will be better under Hassan Rowhani. “By establishing a powerful cabinet and government, the new president will be able to tackle all the current problems easily. In my opinion, he also needs to apply softer standpoints on Iran’s foreign policies.”
Hassan Rowhani has already reiterated that he will work hard to establish positive and constructive bilateral ties with government of the United States.
The Iranian conservative politician also urged the officials of Muslim Brotherhood to revise their views. “I recommend this Egyptian political party to change its ways from radical Muslim groups. Muslim Brotherhood can do better in regard to current Egyptian crisis.”
