Iran’s Football Federation Censured for Poor Planning
Iran football coach Carlos Queiroz has recently urged the officials of Football Federation to change the plan of Iran Premier League. Accordingly, Queiroz wants to prepare Iran national football team for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in the best possible way.
Engin Firat, the head coach of Saipa, believes that poor planning of Iran’s Football Federation will make a large number of problems for the domestic clubs and Team Melli.
“I strongly believe that Iran Pro League has enough potential to become the best football league of Asia. Unfortunately over the past few years, the managers of Iran’s Football Federation have failed to find the best plan for Iran Pro League.” German Turkish head coach said in a pre-match press-conference on Wednesday.
He went on to say that Iranians should try hard to improve the planning of the domestic league. “In European leagues, clubs know their fixtures for next few months. But Iranian clubs cannot plan accordingly. I still believe that Iran will be the next hub of football in Asia, but these problems should be resolved as soon as possible.”
Engin Firat says the local clubs and Football Federation must respect the ideas of Carlos Queiroz. “Iran national football team should take part in upcoming FIFA World Cup. Like the other coaches, Queiroz wants to hold as many training sessions as he can with selected players. Because of the poor planning of Iran’s Football Federation, the comments of Queiroz have been ignored.”
“As the head coach of Saipa, my main aim is getting this team qualified for the next version of AFC Champions League. However, I need more quality players to achieve my ultimate goal, but I will do what I could to reach this intention.” Engin Firat concluded.
