Hassan Rowhani has yet to Assign Spokesperson for its Cabinet
As the new president of Islamic Republic, Hassan Rowhani, is working hard to find his suitable deputies and ministers, the rumors are flooding in Iranian local media in this regard. A source close to Rowhani announced on Sunday that Iranian president has yet to assign spokesperson for its cabinet. Accordingly all the current rumors in media are baseless and news agencies should not reflect those comments.
During the recent days, newspapers and news agencies owned by reformist political parties have announced the members of Hassan Rowhani’s next cabinet. Rowhani has earlier said that his official comments and speeches will be only covered by his official website.
Morteza Motahari, an Iranian analyst, suggests that Rowhani must announce the names of his ministers as soon as possible. “Now, people are looking to hear the names of Iran’s next ministers. They hope for massive changes in various sectors. The current rumors spreading in local media are not good for the reputation of Hassan Rowhani. In my opinion, this is the best time to present the members of Rowhani’s cabinet.”
Hassan Rowhani, who managed to win Iran’s 2013 presidential election in a few weeks ago, has declared that he will try to form a cabinet including all elite politicians regardless of their respective political parties. Rowhani had received supports from reformist groups during the election, but he has promised to use the power of conservative parties in his government too.
