Hadi Aghily: Sepahan have to Aim for Iran Pro League Title

Sepahan Isfahan FC Iran Pro League

The former champion of Iran Pro League, Sepahan Isfahan FC, didn’t perform well in the first five weeks of IPL. Accordingly the Isfahan-based football team collected only 7 points. Hadi Aghily, the vice-captain of Sepahan, says these situations will be changed in near future.

“We have garnered only seven points out of the first five games in Iran Pro League. As we aim to claim the title of IPL, we need to do our job in the best possible way.” Aghily remarked after the match against Fajr Sepasi, in which the Isfahani club lost the three points.

“I cannot justify the poor performance of players in these matches. However, we must try hard to change the conditions as soon as possible. We need to grab all the available points in next matches in order to keep our chances alive for wining Iran Premier League.” The former defender of Iran national football team declared.

“Currently, the first team in the able is five points ahead of Sepahan. I am confident that Sepahan players can fill this gap.” Hadi Aghily added.

He also highlighted the important role of Navidkia in Sepahan. “Moharram Navidkia plays a key role in Sepahan. Nobody else can fill his place. Navidkia used to lead Sepahan in the pitch. I hope he manages to play with us in coming matches.”

“Sepahan FC are a great club, and we need to prove it in next games. I personally urge the Sepahan fans to support the players in order to get the best possible results.” Aghily encouraged fans to join the stadium.

Hadi Aghily also went on to make a comment about the Croatian head coach of Sepahan, Zlatko Kranjčar. “He is among the best and most professional football managers I have ever worked with. Obviously he can help us to replicate our past successes.”

Kranjčar used to manage numerous clubs including but not limited to Persepolis, Croatia and Dinamo Zagreb before joining Sepahan Isfahan FC on October 2011.
